Coffee Subscription Guide 2026: How Subscribe and Save Works
Share
Short version: a Hunter's Blend coffee subscription ships your roast on the schedule you choose, takes 5% off every order automatically, and can be skipped or cancelled at any time. Below is exactly how it works, what it saves you at today's prices, and how to pick the right roast and delivery frequency.

Why Coffee Lovers Subscribe Instead of Reordering
Nobody plans to run out of coffee. It happens anyway — usually on a morning you are already out the door before daylight. The result is a gas-station cup, or worse, a bag of stale grocery-store coffee that has been sitting on a shelf since who-knows-when.
A subscription solves a boring problem in a boring way, which is the point: your coffee shows up before you run out, roasted in small batches in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and shipped fresh to your door. You stop managing it. You just drink good coffee.
How the Hunter's Blend Coffee Subscription Works
1. Choose your roast
Every 12 oz bag and our 5 lb bulk coffee can be set up as a subscription. Pick the one you already drink, or start with the roast that matches how you take your coffee:
- Original Roast — our flagship medium/dark. Great aroma and body, the safe pick for a household with different tastes.
- Black Powder — dark and smoky for the folks who want their coffee to push back. There is a full Black Powder brewing guide if you want the details first.
- Dawn's Early Light — light roast, brighter and more aromatic in the cup.
- Java Rum — flavored with caramel, vanilla and rum notes. Flavoring only; there is no alcohol in the coffee.
- Decaf — Mountain Water Process decaf from Veracruz, Mexico, decaffeinated with water rather than added chemicals.
- Bulk Coffee 5 lb — the best cost per cup if you go through coffee fast or you are supplying a shop, camp or job site.
Not sure yet? The 4-pack sample bags let you try before you commit to a standing order, and you can browse everything in 12 oz bags.
2. Pick your delivery schedule
On the product page, select Subscribe & Save and choose a delivery frequency. Current options run from weekly to every six months: once a week, every 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 or 10 weeks, monthly, or every 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months.
A simple way to size it: a 12 oz bag makes roughly 20–24 standard 8 oz cups depending on how strong you brew. One coffee drinker in the house at two cups a day lands close to a bag every 10–12 days; a two-coffee-drinker household is usually a bag a week or a 5 lb bag every 5–6 weeks.
3. Save 5% on every order
The subscription discount is 5% off each recurring order, applied automatically at checkout. It does not stack with other discounts — subscribers get the standing 5%, every time, without a promo code to remember.
Subscription vs. Buying Individually: What You Actually Save
Math on current listed prices. Your total will vary with shipping and taxes.
| Product | One-time price | Subscription price (5% off) | Saved per order | Saved over 12 orders |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Original Roast, 12 oz | $18.99 | $18.04 | $0.95 | $11.40 |
| Black Powder, 12 oz | $18.99 | $18.04 | $0.95 | $11.40 |
| Decaf, 12 oz | $19.99 | $18.99 | $1.00 | $12.00 |
| Bulk Coffee, 5 lb | $94.99 | $90.24 | $4.75 | $57.00 |
The honest read: on a single 12 oz bag, 5% is a dollar. The real savings show up on volume and on the 5 lb bag, and the real value of a subscription is that you never pay the "ran out of coffee" tax — the overpriced drive-through cup or the emergency grocery-store bag.
Why Subscription Coffee Tastes Better Than Pantry Coffee
Roasted coffee is perishable. From the moment it leaves the roaster it is releasing the carbon dioxide and volatile aromatics that make a cup smell and taste like something. Ground coffee gives them up faster than whole bean, and heat, light and open air speed all of it up.
That is the practical argument for a delivery rhythm instead of a stockpile: a bag you finish within a few weeks of roasting simply tastes better than a bag you bought in bulk and forgot about. Set your frequency so you finish each bag before the next one lands, keep it sealed in a cool dark cupboard, and grind as close to brew time as you can manage.
What You Are Actually Subscribing To
Hunter's Blend buys Specialty Grade coffee — the top 6% of coffee produced worldwide — and roasts it in small batches at our Ohio facility at 425–450°F+ for 12–15 minutes. Specialty Grade means the green coffee is defect-screened before it ever reaches the roaster, and a hot, controlled roast is where we do our quality-assurance work.
We are a family business built on faith, family and freedom, and we put dollars behind organizations our customers care about: pro-life work, youth shooting sports, veterans, and hunting and conservation groups. You can read the whole story on our About Us page, or see how we think about the wider category in our guide to choosing an American-made coffee brand.
Managing, Skipping and Cancelling
Your subscription auto-renews on the schedule you picked, and it can be skipped or cancelled at any time. If you would rather have a human handle it, email store@huntersblendcoffee.com.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do I save with a Hunter's Blend coffee subscription?
You save 5% on every recurring order, applied automatically. Other discounts do not apply on top of the subscription price. On a $18.99 12 oz bag that is $0.95 per order; on the $94.99 5 lb bulk bag it is $4.75 per order.
Can I skip a delivery or change my coffee subscription?
Yes. The subscription auto-renews and can be skipped or cancelled at any time. Change your roast, delivery frequency, address or payment details in the Manage Subscription portal, or email store@huntersblendcoffee.com and we will take care of it.
How often should I get coffee delivered?
Frequencies run from once a week to every six months. As a rough guide, a 12 oz bag makes about 20–24 standard cups: one two-cup-a-day drinker is close to a bag every 10–12 days, and a household with two coffee drinkers is usually a bag a week or a 5 lb bag every 5–6 weeks. Start with your best guess and adjust it after the first delivery.
Is Hunter's Blend Coffee certified organic or tested for mold?
No — we are not USDA Certified Organic, and we do not currently perform third-party mold or mycotoxin testing, so we will not make those claims. What we can tell you is what we do: we source Specialty Grade coffee, the top 6% worldwide, defect-screened at origin, and roast every batch at 425–450°F+ for 12–15 minutes. For reference, the FDA notes that pathogens and most molds are eliminated at 180°F for 2–4 minutes; our roast runs far hotter and far longer. Clean beans and a hot, controlled roast are our assurance — we would rather show you the process than sell you a sticker.
Is there a contract or minimum number of orders?
No contract and no minimum. The subscription continues until you skip, pause or cancel it.
